Hola!!! I am Dalia Guillén. I am a Spanish Language Teacher.
I was born in a very very small and beautiful town called Campearito, in Sucre (northeast Venezuela). Spanish is my mother tongue.
I moved to Australia in 2012 (love brought me here!) and I love this beautiful country and its people.
I have an extensive professional experience as an educator. In Venezuela I lectured at several University institutions, and since arriving in Australia I have also taught at University and pre-University levels in some of the best educational institutions of New South Wales. This has given me the opportunity to know more closely the Australian people and the country´s culture, and also the chance to meet people from many other nationalities: it has been for me an immense satisfaction, and a fantastic learning experience, to get to know students from countries such as China, Poland, USA, Switzerland or Japan, among others.
I am thus a very experienced teacher, and very committed and professional in my approach to education. But I am also a fun-to-learn-with teacher, passionate about generating enjoyable learning experiences for students of all levels and age groups. I love teaching Spanish and always try that my students enjoy while learning my native language.
In my free time I like reading, listening to music, walking… What I enjoy most is spending time with my family and travelling and learning about others cultures.
